Color

A vivid palette drawn from citrus, nature, and the Florida atmosphere.

4.1 / Bright and bold

Color from the world of Florida Citrus

The palette draws on ripe fruit, citrus juice, palm trees, groves, blossoms, sunshine, water, bark, and gravel. Its bright hues create an energetic emotional link to Florida. Each brand uses a subset of the master palette. Citrus Gifts may use all fourteen colors.

4.5 / Using color

Create focus and balance

Limit the palette

Prefer fewer than five colors in a piece, counting white, so the idea reads at a glance.

Balance two sources

Pair one or two core product hues with one or two natural hues. Let one hue act as a contrasting accent.

Follow the photography

Choose colors that support the dominant tones in the image so the composition stays clear.

Set priorities

Use color deliberately to bring key information forward and allow supporting content to recede.

4.6 / Social media

Make the grid feel like one brand

Core product hues should dominate a brand’s social presence. Natural hues serve as accents. Consider each post beside its neighbors: color and photography should create harmony across the grid as well as within each asset.
